Picture a smokin' hot pipefitter. Because she works in a steam tunnel. Yep, it doesn't get hotter than the radass crew of Facilities women who tested our most lightweight work pant, deep in the bowels of the University of Virginia. Hot, hard work calls for an ultralight, ultra breathable work pant. But it's got to be tough. So we called in micro-ripstop. And radioed for water resistance. Does ultra lightweight mean we skimped on features? As if. We built this pant off our Britt Utility—the most technical work pant for women. But Britt X Ultralight has even more tool storage, just way less weight. Now that's hot.

Great Work Pants

I really like the fit of these work pants. They fit like my favorite jeans but also have a lot of useful (deep) pockets and the lightweight fabric keeps me from getting too hot. I especially like the cotton blend ripstop--it has a much nicer feel against my skin than some of the synthetic work pants I've tried. I work in a steamy, hot environment in summer, so the lightweight fabric is great. Also, the ripstop weave is pretty sturdy. I now have six pairs of these pants. I might be back for the regular weight Britts for winter. Nice colors too. Maybe a nice gray color would be good if you are thinking of adding colors.
